With this plugin, you now have a video section in your EQDKP. Links can be added to videos, web space via FTP to the uploaded videos can be imported on platforms such as Youtube, and with the Youtube uploader can upload videos from your hard drive directly to YouTube without having to leave the EQDKP.
Install the contents of the archive in the plugins/folder of your EQdkp. Then administer the plugin as usual from the administration area. The plugin also has a portal module ("Video of the moment will be supplied"), which after installing the plug-in can be Enabled in the portal modules.
Important: before update always make a backup of the files via FTP and database!
After the backup just overwrite the new files over the old ones in the folder .. / plugins / media center / and go to the administration page of the plugin. If a database update is necessary, you will see a reference to this. Simply follow the instructions. Specific notes on specific updates will be posted here in the WIKI. See below.

Here, the entire category management is taking place. You can edit or delete an existing category, as well as create new ones.
When you delete categories all the videos in this category are automatically deleted as well, so before deleting non-empty categories, be warned. If you wanted to keep the videos, in video management simply move them to a different category.
So that videos can be recorded, they must be assigned at least 1 category.
Here are all the videos are stored in the appropriate categories, and can be deleted, edited and added. You can be erase simultaneously several videos by the appropriate checkboxes ... Delete "is" selected. With the appropriate links / checkboxes a whole category or all downloads can be selected.
If a video is reported or there are unlock video clips, they will be displayed at the top of this page.
Here you will see graphically the statistics on how often what the video was viewed. You can choose overall, categories and individual files. You can veiw by one years, monthly and weekly views.
The Imported videos can be imported into the FTP folder / ... / downloads / videos uploaded / "in the plugin. At the moment, only files with the extensions to flv, wma and wmv are imported. Use the checkboxes of the files easily, then enter the desired name and description of the download, select the category and import.
When activated, users have only one vote per video available.
When videos require approval to join, the admin is notified by a tooltip. The Activations can be done via the Video Management. The administrator has the ability to watch these videos, while normal user videos that are not released yet unable to watch. This also prevents illegal content from being displayed on your board.
This can be switched off so that admin does not receive an email when a video was announced.
To get feedback on the video and is available next to the rating system and the annotation system. This can either be activated or deactivated.
With this function, a link is created right in the tab above the Media Center. This link can be left adjusted in the plus-Settings->.
Here you can set how many videos to appear per page, for example, when searching or in the categories.
In the category list the presentation of the videos can be changed between "Pictures" and "list". With this function, the default view can be selected.

This does not incur too much data, legacy data will be automatically deleted after x days. Blank Field means that the function is not activated.

In the second tab you will find the Youtube uploader. Your Youtube password is not stored in EQDKP and transmitting encrypted to Youtube and solely used for authentication. Now fill in all required fields and click Next. If the login was successful, then a selection window appears on the file. Simply select a file and submit it. Close the window until the message says that the upload was successful. The video is then entered into the Media Center, however, not all information such as thumbnail and duration available as Youtube must unlock the video first. Once that has taken place, the media center will try to retrieve the data.
