This is a tool used to view and assist management of DKP within WoW.

Installation

GetDKP is an Addon for World of Warcraft.

Always Download "Latest Version"

Unpacking the File

Unpack the .zip File (WinRar is a good Tool for doing this) in the World of Warcraft-subdirectory
\Interface\Addons\
For example:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\

Data Retrieval

Once installed, Navigate to the \GetDKP\GetDKPData\ folder in your "Adddons" folder. Right Click on "dkp.exe" and click, "Create Shortcut". Place Shortcut somewhere that is easy for you to access, your desktop, or menu. Click Shortcut to begin.

You will see the following window.

Input settings similar to what you see now. You should not have to change your World of Warcraft installation folder unless it is not in the default location. Input your domain name followed by the path to the /eqdkp-plus/ folder.

So if your path was http://my-domain.com/games/wow/eqdkp-plus/ then you would enter my-domain.com/games/wow/eqdkp-plus

When finished you may select to start wow automatically or adjust the advanced options as you wish, but this is seldom required.

You can then click done and you will see the following.

If you get anything that shows red, run the operation again as it may be your first time to download the data.
When you perform this part of the operation, do not close this window. It will close itself.

After this you may then start WoW as the data has been downloaded. You must perform this action every time the database on your website changes in order for them to be synchronized in WoW.

In-Game Commands

Open Windows

/gdc: opens the config menu
/gdl: open the GetDKPList windows
/gdb: opens the Bet and Win modul

Misc commands

/gdc status: shows the configuration
/gdc info [chat/guild/raid/group]: displays EQDKP information in the respective channel
/gdc help: shows this table
/gdc whisperdkp [on/off]: turns off the whisper function for DKP points
/gdc whisperitems [on/off]: turns off the whisper function for items
/gdc whisperhide [on/off]: Hide outgoing whisper when someone request DKP or Iteminformations
/gdc buyerslimit xx: Show only xx Buyers of an item. xx can by a number between 1 an 40. 0 = all
/gdc needlimit xx: Show only xx Player with NEED of an item. xx can by a number between 1 an 40. 0 = all
/gdc reset: this will reset all GETDKP Config Variables (Not the EQDKP Data !!)
/gdco [guild/group/chat/raid/officer]: sets the chat the command /dkp will report to

LiveDKP

/dkp+ [toon name / Raid ] [DKP] [account name]: Adds DKP points
/dkp- [toon name / Raid ] [DKP] [account name]: Subtract DKP points

expamples:


/dkp+ Corgan 100 DKP1 - Add 100 DKP to Corgans DKP points in the account DKP1
/dkp- Corgan 100 DKP1 - Subtract 100 DKP from Corgans DKP points in the account DKP1
/dkp+ Raid 100 DKP1 - Add 100 DKP to all players in the Raid in the account DKP1

whisper commands

dkp [account]: DKP points

example: The player Corgan has GetDKP installed and you want to receive your dkp from him. /w corgan dkp [account name]

WoW Operations

List

To open the list, use the '/gdl' command or simply left-click the icon or the Fubar icon.

Here you can sort by name, class, or DKP. You can filter by all users and raid users (showing only those in your current raid.

You can also show the set and non-set item graphics.

Configuration

To display the configuration window, use the '/gdc' command.

Whisperfunction for points - With this enabled, a player may whisper /w yourname dkp and it will send a whisper back with their dkp. Hide Whisperoutput - This will prevent you from seeing who is whispering you for their dkp. Show Tooltip - This is the tooltip that appears next to an item tooltip displaying GetDKP info on that item (such as previous looters). Show Tooltip only in Raid - This prevents it from displaying the tooltip outside of raid. Show Min/Max/AVG Points in Tooltip - Cost values for the item in the tooltip. Show your own DKP in Tooltip - Obvious Show the buyers of Items in Tooltop - Display previous purchasers. Show the buyers of an Item - Obvious LiveDKP Function - Updates the List as you proceed through raid.

Outputchat - Which channels to broadcast LiveDKP adjustments too

Position of Tooltip - In relation to the item tooltip.

Show xx Item Owner - How many to displauy in the tooltip Show xx who Item need - used in conjunction with Bet & Win

Bet and Win

This utility monitors betting and dkp of items. It can also create countdown timers. Although seldom used on less organized guilds, this tool could be very useful for pug raids.

I do not use this so I cannot contribute more.

Get DKP List

Options for the List

Show only Raidmembers - A default setting if you will. Show Itemwindow - By default the window is on, if you have no need of it, turning this off is recommended. Show all TokenItems in Set Windows - This show's tier sets in the Show Setitems window.

adjust hte account for the raid If you use a name other than DKP for points

Ask for Data - Designed to autocomplete previous adjustment

GetDKP Request accept - Transfer's information between 2 users and Clear's data created by import.

Scale

Visual adjustments for the windows

Minimap Button Show - Known to conflict with other addons, this does not always make it go away.

GetDKPList scaling - size of the List Window

Bet and win scaling - size of the Bet & Win Window.

GetDKP Fubar Plugin

This is installed by default. Here you can have a quick access to a list according to what you approve of, class or subclasses, Raid members or all.
