The Boss suite (BS) is a plugin for EQDKP Plus and is mainly used for graphic processing of progress in instances/zones.
The BossSuite is dependent upon how you enter information into EQDKP. BossSuite is not clairvoyant and you must be familiar with entering raids in either by plugin import or manually.
In the settings we can adjust the way BossSuite retrieves its data. There are four options that I want to elaborate on the following:
In this setting, the BS tries to get imported data in the EQDKP raid for information about zones and bosses. This is the default setting and is also the basic function of the BS plugin.
A raid in EQDKP is always comprised of two parts.
1) Raidname (the event) 2) Raidnotes
There are of course the participants, information about the timing and other things, but this is not relevant to the setting of BS.
Offsets provide the ability to manually enter data zones and bosses. This option should be used if you want a grudge older zones / bosses, whose raids are no longer in EQDKP. So if you are used to times you had a system which no longer exists, but still want to show your visitors that you have visited certain instances, this is the right place.
This setting offers nothing new, but only activated both reading from the database, as well as the offset. This is at the counters of the offset value is added, the data for the first / last visit / Kill the earliest or latest date, which was used in the offsets and the database.
The cache feature provides essentially the same as setting "Both" does, however, here the calculations of data can not be called for every page refresh, just when many raids there may otherwise take a long time, but only if requested by the user manually in the Admin Menu or in the latest versions also automatically be entered when raids or settings have been changed.
